Description:

Kane Selection are representing a globally recognised provider of Powered Access machines, widely used across the country. Since they were established 12 years ago, the company has experienced consistent growth, including a 40% increase in sales revenue over the past 4 years.

Due to ongoing success, they are expanding their sales team and seeking dynamic new business winners.

As a Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be on driving new business by identifying and cultivating relationships with target clients within your assigned region. You will represent the company, ensuring customer needs are prioritised while successfully closing new deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement strategies to attract new customers.
  • Research target businesses and sites.
  • Generate meetings with potentially new customers.
  • Present to clients and lead meetings understanding their current need.
  • Build relationships with the end user(s) and manage the sales process to a successful end.
  • Attend trade shows, conventions and industry functions to further the company’s reputation and positive image.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years hiring out powered access equipment.
  • 5+ years external sales experience.
  • Relationship building experience with both small and large end users.
  • The ability to self-generate appointments.
  • Self-motivated and drive to succeed.
