Description:

Kane Selection Ltd represents an internationally renowned Material Processing Equipment dealer. Due to its success and expansion, our client is looking for a Sales Manager to cover its 10-state coverage. The manager will drive the sales, rentals, parts, and service of its Environmental line.

The company has a vast line of internationally known manufacturers of Crushers, Screens, Wash Plants, and Environmental Equipment across Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Indiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Florida. Servicing multiple industries, including organic mulch and soil production, quarry operations, aggregate processing, recycling, and road construction, the ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of some or most of these product lines and routes to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet established sales quotas, revenue goals, and expense allowances to ensure the achievement of the regional business plan
  • Professionally communicate and coordinate with central office support staff regularly
  • Monitor the market environment to identify new sales opportunities
  • Must possess common sense and the ability to react quickly to unexpected circumstances
  • Work at a fast pace with a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong capabilities in using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and knowledge of typical aggregate system planning software such as Aglow

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Two to five years of experience selling similar equipment
  • Knowledge of a wide range of aggregate/environmental equipment and supporting machinery
  • Strong engineering and mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand machinery operation and troubleshoot system issues
  • Ability to travel throughout the territory
  • Excellent interpersonal capabilities and strong communication skills
  • Team player with a focus on responsive customer support
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to communicate clearly with employees, external vendors, and management
  • A strong motivator with excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English
